you really can see everything, theres a whole scene where you just watch elizabeth's husband shower, full frontal. e v e r y t h i n g.

here are a few thoughts that crossed my mind during the film watching experience.

-she white-womaned too close to the sun

-nathan fielder weaponizes his autism for good

-this is accidentally a horror movie

-this film will be used in psychology classes to diagnose and identify psychopathy and sociopathy. these are capital C Crazy people

-this woman is the main speaker at the gaslight gatekeep girlboss convention

and most importantly:

-nathan fielder is my beautiful he/him girlfriend (if this doesn't immediately make sense i will not explain it because it never will. iykyk)

i honest to god believe this is the great american documentary of our decade. i am so incredibly confused as to how and why this was able to be made, and whats even more baffling is that it looks like nathan fielder is equally (if not more) confused. this movie has become a new fav of all time because of the significance it plays in documenting what the silicon valley mindset is, and how guiltless the kingpins (queenpin, in this case) of the tech oligarchy are. i know it was not an accident that the new elon musk movie (aptly titled musk) trailer played before this movie came on. when we let power hungry capitalists have control over economy, science, policy, and innovation, we create a recipe for destruction. nathan fielder's way of refusing to shy away from questioning subtext (which i believe is not a result of good journalism, but genuine confusion. love that guy.) forces his documentary subjects to say and be the thing out loud that we all know they are in private: gold-hoarding dragons with no concern for consequences, especially when those consequences only affect others.
