superbloom (2026) // jessie ware
ALBUMS★5/5

disco is not dead; it has a new mother and her name is jessie ware. jessie has captured a sound in this album that i’d consider the quintessence of her discography. this album is shiny, smooth, glittery, sensual, mature, sexy, and so so so much more. her vocals deliver with such silky smoothness and hypnotic binaurality that i think she could be singing the letters of the alphabet and i’d still consider this lyrical genius. jessie ware’s strength has always been, in my opinion, her delivery. after seeing her live, i can confidently say that she is always committed 100% to being the character, nay, being the groove. i believe i could characterize her sound and overall aesthetic with one word (that im not sure exists but i’ve just decided to coin): sirenetic. she has an incredible control over the mood, the movement, the moment, and could sway the squirreliest of sailors to their death on the dance floor.
