port wine and black garlic

her majesty is a vulture;

she bleeds port wine and exhales black garlic.

the spirit of the royal rug tells stories of her fungal feet,

and the mind within her knickerbockers knows of her unkept mane.

when asked if her majesty could read;

she replied no, i am a writer.

when asked if she cared to dance;

she replied, no, i only dance carelessly.

her majesty is a seductress;

and she paints the men she loves in burgundy and bergamot.

and she leaves in a huff and a puff, because she will never be pleased.

how can a man please her when he is dead on the floor.

so she picks at his remains with her featherless neck bobbing;

she paints him with port wine and blows a kiss of black garlic.

she walks away on fungal feet,

and hides her unkept mane in her knickerbockers.
