defective

your warranty expires the moment

you take back your name and

create yourself

you carry

the mechanical issues

that are enveloped in your design

and become a mutant

of the genus

that brought you up

you carry the programing

the fury and fire

that is designed within your code

but to execute your inheritance

is to make light of your

creation of self

to take adam's rib

and remake it into your own

is to bite the apple without the devil's warm grasp

and to choose your own salvation

is to float on a raft aimlessly

praying you'll know how to save yourself.
